So this week we got rained on almost everyday, more doors shut in our face and two bapitsms to finish it off yesterday. The weather was so crazy this week, the climate is bi-polar here, its raining one minute and the sun is shining the next minute. We had a slow start to the week, we were both sick but got better and finished off strong. We had a really cool baptism yesterday in a river, we rented a bus and all the members hoped and we drove half an hour to a river. The water was so cold, i thought i saw i peace of ice floating past me when i got in the water haha, it was by far the coldest baptism i've had in the mission. We baptized melissa and talia, it was one of the cooler baptisms in my mission. So we're teaching other people that could be baptized too but i dunno theres something about the people here that is way different and a lot harder than in other areas.
my comp elder caballero, hes from lima and hes going to go home in about 25 days and we're working hard trying hard not to be trunky. Hes way cool hes a super hard worker and i can say that for the first time in my mission i'm really giving it my all, thanks to him i'm always tired haha. Last week after we went to internet we called a taxi, my comp got in and was just reaching to shut his door, i had just opened mine when the driver stepped on the gas. I dived in head first, while my door was still open, meanwhile the door hit a wheelbarrel way hard, here the wheel barrels are completly made out of metal, so now the taxi diver has a huge dent in his door with a nice sized hole too. The whole thing was pretty fun in how it happened, maybe you'd have to be there to see it, but stuff like this only happens in peru haha. And yesterday a drunk guy was following us, we stopped to knock a door, he stopped too and started to punch a power pole while we were knocking. my comp told him to give it to him good, so he started to punch it harder, then he started to say that it hurts. But he kept on punching it haha, nobody was there so we left, but the drunk guy stayed there, punching the pole haha.
